With its marbled columns, large archways and elegant finishes, this magnificent kitchen is fit for any Tuscan villa.
The distressed wood cabinetry and the rustic farmhouse sink mix well with modern touches such as stainless appliances, a subzero refrigerator and pasta faucet. The marble tile floor has been warmed up with inlaid strips of wood and the countertops are a sleek and shiny black granite complemented by lighter granite used on the island.

What really makes this kitchen special, however, are the personal touches. For example, the whimsical black and white pendant lights by Mackenzie Childs work well next to the heavy and ornate lighting fixture that hangs over the sink. Heavy black accents found in the bar stools, wall hangings and accessories help to ground this large room. And no Italian kitchen is complete without a rooster, which can be found here in decorative platters and artwork.
Warm colors and personal touches combined with an eat-in kitchen and access to the adjoining family room truly make this space the heart of the home.
